So(ul) Full Cooking

Facilitate Change’s So(ul) Full Cooking is an intentional offering from Kunal Vasudev centering personal healing and connection through cooking. It is a space for participants to think about their needs and how food can be a means of meeting those needs and bringing healing and nourishment to our souls.

Whether you’re new to cooking or experienced with knives, the hope of this offering is to build relationship, bring nourishment, and work towards fulfillment through the magic of food and the stories we have around them.

WHEN

So(ul) Full Cooking is a two session commitment that totals 2.5 hours. After completing the form below, there is an initial 60 minute needs assessment with Kunal to build relationship and understand the needs of the participant. Following the needs assessment, we will schedule a 90 minute cooking session , to occur within a two week time period.

COST

We want to ensure that this offering is financially accessible while still fairly compensating our facilitators for their labor.  Rates will be on a sliding scale, starting at $50/hour and going to $150/hour ($225 – $675).

Payment will be made in a deposit of 25% of the total amount, paid within five days following the initial needs assessment, with a payment plan for the remaining balance, to be discussed and agreed upon between the facilitator and the participant.

For example, if you select the $225 rate, the deposit would be $56.25, to be paid within five days following the needs assessment. The remaining $168.75 would be split over up to six months, depending on what is sustainable.

Recognizing that everybody has different needs and not wishing to reinforce capitalism, we also offer a deposit-only payment plan for those individuals who can only pay the deposit.

We ask that accepted individuals select an amount that feels accessible to them while considering how privilege has impacted their current financial situation. We trust that you know your situation best and will not ask you to provide additional labor to prove what you need. There is no application fee for applying.
